I’m
Catalina Figini

Storyteller | Teacher | Researcher

I am an Argentine storyteller living between Buenos Aires and the world. My work sits at the intersection of art, education, and intercultural exchange.

I tell stories, and teach others to tell them, lead workshops, coordinate projects and create spaces where words bring people together.

For me stories are a gathering place: for imagination, for thought and for seeing the world in a different light.

What I do

Performances

I tell stories for audiences of all ages — on stages, in schools, theatres, libraries, public squares, and storytelling circles.

“Speech belongs half to the speaker, half to the listener.”

Montaigne

Workshops

I lead workshops for children, teens and adults: spaces to play with words, listen to stories and explore them in a playful and creative way.

Spanish Classes

I offer individual and group Spanish lessons, tailored to each learner’s pace, needs and goals.

Projects

I design and coordinate educational and community-based projects in which stories become meeting points for creativity and expression.

“Words are like onions. The more skins you peel off, the more meanings you find. And once you begin to discover that multiplicity of meanings, right and wrong cease to matter”

Fatima Mernissi, Dreams of Trespass
